As an intern in the Business Statistics Division, you will play a key role in the R&D for exploring new data sources and conducting data exploration and analysis to generate new data insights on the digital presence (e.g. internet presence, social media presence) of Singapore firms. This is a unique opportunity to experience the entire lifecycle of a data analytics project, from conceptualization to analysis.

What the role is
What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
Web-scraping: Develop and maintain web scraping scripts to collect data from online sources.
Data Preprocessing: Assist in cleaning, preprocessing, and managing data to ensure high-quality inputs for data analysis.
Data Exploration and Visualization: Utilize data visualization tools to interpret and present data insights in a clear and impactful manner.
Project Involvement: Engage in the end-to-end process of data analytics projects, including conceptualization, development, and analysis.

Required Skills:
Basic Programming Knowledge (Python/R)
Preferred Skills:
Good Analytical Skills
Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI or Matplotlib
Preferred Discipline:
Computer Science / Data Analytics / Data Science / Business Analytics / Statistics / Mathematics Economics
