What the role is
DOS gathers data on government benefits and taxes from diverse sources to deliver insights on how government support impact income inequality and social outcomes.
What you will be working on
If you’re eager to gain deeper insights into this data domain, acquire hands-on experience and contribute to enhancing the efficiency of this end-to-end data value chain, come join us on this internship project where you will be involved in the following:
- Support the migration of ETL processes to Python.
- Analyse current data workflows and provide actionable recommendations to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness with implementation
What we are looking for
Proficiency in Python with experience using the software in data processing and management
General understanding of government benefits and taxation would be a plus.
Preferred Discipline : Undergraduates from Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science
Internship Duration: 6 months (Jan-Jun 2026)
