What the role is

The Trusted Centre for Individual and Business Data at DOS (TC) shares data with the Whole-of-Government (WOG) for policy analysis, agency operations and service delivery purposes. The intern will assist to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort thorough understanding of the metadata and interface specifications, requirements gathering and specifying requirements, working with tech teams, automation implementation for specific processes in TC. The intern will also be exposed to user requests for the data, to gain an understanding of the TC’s business process from data acquisition to data dissemination.

What we are looking for

Proficiency in R or Python, and SQL is preferred.  Ability to find the most appropriate technical solution for business problems. Communication skills to engage multiple stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. Good team player. Preferred Discipline : Undergraduate from Undergraduates from Computer Science / Data Science and Analytics Internship Duration: 6 months (Jan-Jun 2026)
