What the role is

As a key member of the Workplace Development team, the incumbent will assist to oversee and run all Electrical Engineering Works of CSA’s premises and be involved in project management, budget planning, tendering and award of contracts, as well as creating and monitoring KPIs.

What you will be working on

Key Responsibilities You will manage CSA's facilities as part of a team. This includes: 1. Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems and associated equipment related to CSA’s premises. 2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electrical engineering solutions. 3. Conduct thorough analyses and simulations to optimise system performance and reliability. 4. Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and incorporating cutting-edge technologies into designs. 5. Aligned the planning of electrical projects with the overall project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project completion. 6. Manage the work of electrical specialist contractors and professional engineers, to ensure contract agreements are met and work is completed satisfactorily before issuing the Completion Certificate. 7. Set up a smart FM technology operation to enable buildings to be run more cost-effectively for the energy sustainability for the tenanted office. 8. Manage all electrical operation issues with the landlord including the rectification of defects within the DLP, and project manage the design and renovation of a smart office from the pre-tender to post-project completion stages. 9. Any other tasks as assigned pertaining to electrical and energy sustainability.

What we are looking for

Requirements 1. Tertiary education in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering or equivalent in the Built Environment. 2. Prior experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering role managing system design and development and deploying smart technologies to enhance building operations is preferred. 3. Proficient in CAD software and electrical design tools is an advantage. 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues on electrical and energy related issues. 5. Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with project teams and landlords. 6. Familiar with BCA regulations, code of practice on electrical engineering, etc. 7. Plan and execute the routine audit on energy consumption to ensure efficient use of energy in tenanted premises.
