What you will be working on
a) Case Management and Stakeholder Relations
You will independently manage assigned legal aid applications, working closely with our network of volunteer Assigned Solicitors and supporting our Legal Officers. You will be the vital link that ensures smooth operations whilst maintaining good relations
b) Digital-First Operations
Embrace the future of legal work by using digital tools for court document electronic filing, knowledge management, and data analytics to improve our processes. We are constantly exploring new digital solutions, so your willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies will be highly valued.
c) Event Management & Community Building
Plan and execute engaging annual events to celebrate our amazing volunteers, facilitate regular Legal Aid Board meetings, and help build a vibrant community around our mission.
d) Innovation & Improvement
Join exciting projects that shape LAB's future - from developing communication strategies and crafting efficient SOPs to enhancing IT systems and spearheading efficiency initiatives. Your fresh perspective and creative ideas will be welcomed.

e) Language Competency - Your fluency in both English and a mother tongue (fluency in a local dialect would be an advantage) allows you to connect diverse communities.

• [Legal Case Management] Learn and apply basic understanding of Standard Operating Procedures, forms and IT systems related to case management to support efficient and timely handling of cases.
• [Litigation Support] Learn and apply basic understanding of rules and procedures applied in courts and trials.
• [Industry Partnership Development and Engagement] Implement outreach initiatives and engagement strategies with our key partners.
Successful candidates will be appointed on a 1-year contract in the first instance.
