The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. The Manpower Department (MPD) is the staff authority for Human Resource (HR)-related matters within SPF. The mission of Manpower Department is to recruit, retain and develop the right people. You will assist the Manager (Recruitment) and Assistant Director (Talent Attraction Division) in the recruitment process for Direct Entry Inspector, Direct Entry Sergeant, and Civilian Officer positions across various units within SPF. You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme

You will also be working on the following: • Ensuring a smooth recruitment process from job advertisement publication to candidate appointment. • Collaborating and liaising with hiring units, the MHA hiring team, and applicants. Addressing queries from all parties involved. • Conducting thorough checks on documents submitted by applicants. • Participating in interviews as an HR representative. • Ensuring timely and accurate entry of hiring data into the system for statistical analysis, management reporting, and monitoring purposes. • Reviewing existing recruitment policies and processes. • Planning training resources. • Supervising executives. • Covering managerial duties where required. • Undertaking any other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements • Relevant qualifications and/or work experience. • Leadership skills. • Meticulous and independent worker who is able to carry out their responsibilities with minimum supervision. • Good communication and writing skills. • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. • Comfort working in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently whilst being a good team player with strong interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
