This position resides with the Properties & Facilities Management (PFM) Division, reporting to the Assistant Director, Security. The appointed jobholder will be responsible for managing day-to-day physical security operations, defining security procedures, handling security incidents and the security system of all NLB premises. The successful candidate is also required to assist with the audits, policies & plans and also oversee the procurement & contractual matters relating to Physical Security.

What you will be working on

1. Security Management

  • Manage day-to-day physical security operations of all NLB premises but not limited to access control system, CCTV system, security officer management, standard operating procedures (SOP), security audits & incident management, Security policies.
  • Assist in the management and development of NLB’s physical security infrastructure, systems, and assets for existing and new facilities and buildings
  • Engagement of security contractors to review existing procedures and to implement new initiatives to improve the overall physical security standards of NLB.
  • Conduct safety and security checks for compliance with the sectoral regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, investigate and/or resolve security incidents

 

2. Contract Management

  • Plan and execute security related projects
  • Plan and manage tender process for security related projects
  • Contract & Contractor management

 

3. Procurement support

  • Plan and manage procurement process
  • Manage the various Fund sources
  • Verify invoices for goods/ services received

What we are looking for

  • 2 to 13 years of relevant experience
  • Professional certifications in Physical Security preferred
  • Prior experience in government procurement policies & guidelines preferred
  • Self-motivated, responsible, possess good interpersonal and people management skills
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Meticulous and attentive to details
  • Able to cope with a fast-paced work environment

The successful applicant will first be appointed on a 2-year contract basis.
