What the role is

The Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC) Limited is a knowledge centre under the Ministry of National Development with a mission to distil, create and share knowledge on liveable and sustainable cities. The Centre’s work spans research, capability development, advisory and knowledge platforms, including the World Cities Summit. You can expect a dynamic and rewarding career at CLC, where you will help bring together city leaders and experts from around the world to address contemporary urban challenges and opportunities.

What you will be working on

This position is for a temporary duration of eight (8) months from 3 November 2025 (Monday) to 30 June (Tuesday) 2026. You will be involved in CLC’s international capacity development programmes which serve as knowledge-sharing platforms to help build the capacities of urban leaders from foreign global cities. It will be advantageous to have a keen interest in sustainable urban development and global trends. Key responsibilities include supporting in the: 1. Development and delivery of programmes, including e-module formats. 2. Overall management of programme speakers and participants. 3. Programme organisation and operations in all aspects, including procurement and liaison with stakeholders and vendors where required. 4. Overall logistical management associated with programme organisation and delivery.

What we are looking for

• Relevant working experience in planning, organising and delivering programmes/conferences/events, and able to resolve issues on the ground efficiently and effectively. • A self-starter with clear and focused thinking, good communication, interpersonal skills, a keen sense of responsibility and attention to details. • Able to work independently and in a team.
