What the role is

You will be part of ServiceSG’s dynamic Service Transformation & Planning Team that catalyses, implements and scales initiatives to achieve service delivery transformation and support our ambition to Be Globally Leading and Innovative in Service Delivery. You will be involved in exciting pilots and initiatives to improve our citizens’ experiences. You will report to the Assistant Director (Service Transformation & Planning). Primarily, you would be supporting two related but distinct efforts in our transformation journey: • Service Journeys • Digital Channels In addition, you would be supporting the Service Transformation & Planning team in administrative functions that include, but are not limited to: • Budget tracking and utilisation • Contract management incl. software licenses • Drafting of simple approval papers • Purchase, distribution and tracking of incentives to users involved in research testing • Coordinating schedules and arrangements of logistics, venues and other matters pertaining to meetings or research sessions.

What you will be working on

[Key Responsibilities]: • [Service Journeys] Working together with Service Journey leads, you will support the end-to-end process of service journey work which includes: o Engaging stakeholders to understand their business needs, user needs, pain points and insights and drawing them together to form a cohesive service journey map. o Establish as-is and to-be journeys to support transformation efforts. o Support landscape scans and market research to establish data points from secondary research that will complement the service journey process. o Support SJ lead in scoping recommendations, especially as they pertain to ServiceSG’s digital channels. • [Digital Channels] Working together with the Digital Channels Product Managers, your responsibilities will include: o Keep track of product roadmap, planned milestones and project progress. o Nudge stakeholders for relevant inputs or progress updates as required, and actively flag out timeline derailers. o Support conversations on product development and enhancements, as well as onboarding on to products.

What we are looking for

[Competencies Required]: • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Meticulous, service-oriented and detail-oriented • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation/facilitation and stakeholders’ management. • Good project management and time-management skills. • Good interpersonal skills in maintaining effective customer and working relationships • Ability to work well within team and across team(s), and project stakeholders. • Ability to adapt flexibly to different operating situations and work under pressure of tight timelines • Proficient in using Microsoft word, Powerpoint and Excel • Relevant experience in service design or research is preferred.
