What the role is

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support the CSC’s financial reporting, planning, and advisory functions. This individual contributor role blends accounting expertise with forward-looking financial analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making and process optimisation across departments. The candidate will be comfortable working independently, collaborating cross-functionally, and leveraging digital tools to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial outputs.

What you will be working on

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with analysis and commentary for departments and senior management, highlighting key trends and actionable insights. • Coordinate annual external audit and liaise with auditors on audit matters including preparation of statutory financial statements • Liaise with department finance coordinators on financial matters. • Prepare quarterly GST submissions in compliance with regulatory standards. • Lead the coordination and consolidation of annual budgets/forecasts exercises. • Advise departments on financial best practices and support the optimisation of finance workflows and reporting procedures.

What we are looking for

• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in accounting, financial reporting and management reporting. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including using macros for automated report generation and structured data handling. • Proficiency in business intelligence applications, such as Power BI or Tableau • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly. • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. • Organised, detail-oriented, able to work independently. • Collaborative team player with the ability to engage effectively within team and across departments • Demonstrate integrity, accountability and commitment to continuous improvement • Public sector experience is encouraged, especially familiarity with government financial frameworks and reporting standards.
