The role aims to develop and manage relationships and collaborations with like-minded individuals, organisations, professional bodies, corporate, government agencies as foreign libraries and archives, and foreign missions to support the transformation and development of NLB's objectives and goals.

What you will be working on

  • Formulate local strategies and work plans to develop the division’s targets.
  • Plan proposals, manage local partnership projects, operations, and collaborations.
  • Establish and oversee the development and establishment of sponsorship policies and procedures to manage sponsors efficiently.
  • Develop and manage the recognition framework for partners and sponsors.
  • Research and evaluate NLB’s relations with local partners and sponsors for mutual benefits.
  • Regularly review the local partnerships strategy, including but not limited to, cultivating industry players in support of NLB’s goals and objectives.
  • Develop tiered partnership with different types of collaboration.
  • Nurture and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and within NLB divisions to support and implement these key partnership projects.
  • Manage Apex and Strategic partners and sponsors.
  • Manage multi-prong collaboration plans that cut across various divisions in NLB.
  • Manage operations such as the annual returns from NLB divisions for in-kind sponsorship, collation of information and dissemination of NLB annual report to sponsors and the on-going micro-giving efforts of NLB on the Giving.sg platform.
  • Represent and collaborate with divisions/departments and local partners to carry out/conduct the Partners Survey and analyse the findings and develop solutions to the feedback.

What we are looking for

  • 2 to 13 years of relevant experience in sponsorship and/or partnership.
  • Good command of English and communication skills (writing and speaking).
  • Excellent interpersonal, project management, organization and presentation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in different work situations.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • A self-starter with an analytical and creative mind.

The successful applicant will be appointed on an initial 2-year contract.
