• You will contribute to developing and articulating government’s policy position and approach towards ensuring inclusive digital design so that Singaporeans have access to essential services, across both government and private sector.
• Work closely with the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), other MDDI family agencies, whole-of-government agencies and private sector players to develop policies, strategies and initiatives to enhance the usability and accessibility of essential digital services across both public and private sectors.
• Contribute to the development, design, implementation and review of initiatives in partnership with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of tools and approaches for the measurement and assessment of usability and accessibility of essential digital services in Singapore.
• Commission research studies, conduct environment scans and collaborate with local and overseas academia and think tanks on studies to enhance understanding of international and local developments on the approaches and best practices for usability and accessibility of essential digital services. This includes working with MDDI divisions to coordinate research agenda and to propagate research outcomes across Whole of Government (WOG) where relevant.
• Develop and maintain an extensive network of relationships across public, private and people sectors, and ensure an effective and meaningful way to engage, galvanise and bring onboard partners to contribute to enhance the usability and accessibility of essential digital services.
• While the key policy focus will be on inclusive digitalisation, the work may also include other policy areas such as digital access, digital skills and adoption, digital literacy and well-being, and future readiness.
• Provide secretariat work for committees and structures that will drive the above.
