What the role is
We're looking for a dynamic Strategic Planning Manager to join us.
The Futures and Strategic Planning Branch supports senior management in strategy formulation, execution and communication to staff and stakeholders of HSA. In this role, you'll coordinate strategic planning and work planning cycles while managing our digital work planning platform. If you're passionate about both strategic planning and digital systems, this role offers the opportunity to make an impact.
What you will be working on
• Support HSA’s 5-year strategic planning cycle which includes environmental scanning and identification of key initiatives, preparation of workplan paper, evaluation and reporting.
• Plan and conduct HSA’s annual workplan cycle which includes aligning with whole-of-government and MOH plans, developing the HSA work planning guidance and templates, conducting briefings, and consolidating workplans for approval.
• Monitor and report HSA's organisational performance through workplan progress tracking and key performance indicators.
• Manage and enhance HSA’s online workplanning portal as a one-stop hub for workplan submission, approval, update and retrieval.
• Serve as secretariat for HSA senior management meeting, including managing meeting schedule, preparing agenda, consolidating materials, minute taking and filing.
• Plan and organise the annual HSA staff forum, including programme, event slides, logistics and catering.
• Plan and organise VIP briefings and visits.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
• Takes pride in being meticulous and accurate in their work
• Has strong organisational skills to manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Is proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Has experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams, including site management and content organisation
• Writes clearly and effectively
• Has experience in event planning, secretarial work and minute-taking
• Works well with teams and stakeholders, with good communication skills
Experience in strategic planning, future sensing or related fields, and managing digital platforms would be an advantage.
