What the role is
What you will be working on
You will need to perform a wide variety of roles and engage a diverse group of stakeholders in the following areas:
1. Process Optimisation and System Implementation
a. Propose process changes to streamline existing workflows, create new workflows for the future state.
2. Systems Analysis and Integration:
a. Assess and analyse changes required to onboard new systems, including impact on existing system users.
b. Develop system and process requirements for seamless integration with existing / revised / new Finance systems and processes.
3. Stakeholder engagement:
a. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within MHA to evaluate and recommend the most effective systems for Finance processes.
b. Conduct surveys, focus group discussions and other stakeholder engagement activities to gather inputs, assess impact and put forth recommendations.
4. Change Management
a. Develop change management strategies to effectively communicate system and process changes to diverse groups of stakeholders.
b. Ensure smooth adoption of changes through targeted communications, activities and support.
5. Resource Management
a. Manage budget for selected stakeholders to optimise resource allocation and ensure long term sustainability.
b. Evaluate grant proposals and disbursements of grants to HTDs.
c. Monitor budget utilisation, analyse trends and highlight areas of concern.
d. Review existing frameworks to ensure that they continue to remain relevant to stakeholders.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the following experience and qualifications:
a) Experience
· Qualifications in Accountancy and/or Experience in Finance domains knowledge in government financial and procurement procedures will be an added advantage
· Business process reengineering, design thinking related and /or change management work
a) Knowledge
· Systems review, systems design, and analysis of systems effectiveness
· System knowledge/ability to understand and design system requirements to meet user needs.
· Change management strategies
a) Attributes
· Passionate about re-engineering processes and process efficiency
· Innovative and resourceful in finding creative solutions to develop organisational capabilities
· A good team worker, with ability to multi-task and work independently
· Excellent in communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
· Confident in delivering impactful presentations during stakeholder engagement workshops and for management approvals.
