What the role is

You will work in the Allocation & Systems Department to process tenancy applications submitted by stallholders operating at our market and hawker centres. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires you to concurrently manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

What you will be working on

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Support Place Managers in processing tenancy applications including transfer of stall tenancies, assignment of stall tenancies, hawker assistant applications, stall nominee applications, joint operator applications, and termination of stall tenancies.

  • Timely resolution of customer feedback and stallholder enquiries.

  • Prepare statistics and information on various tenancy applications made by stallholders.

  • Support the team in overseeing the digitalisation of tenancy processes, including conducting regular process reviews, maintaining SOPs, and enhancing stakeholder communication platforms.

  • Participate in system enhancement and redesign of application processes, working with vendors from system requirements to user acceptance testing stages.

  • Support stakeholder communications for policy reviews, including coordinating with internal teams (Call Centre, One-Stop Service Centre, and Corporate Department), updating FAQs, and maintaining website content.

What we are looking for

You possess the following qualities,

  • Diploma in real estate, business, or related fields preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in fields such as tenancy management, customer relations, service quality, or digitalisation

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and bonus if proficient in FormSG

  • Proactive in taking initiatives and implementing plans

  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly approach to working with others

  • Well-organised, meticulous, and able to multitask effectively

  • Mature, independent, and resourceful

  • Self-driven with a commitment to continuous improvement

  • As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
