What the role is
You will lead a team in providing insights on the state of security for the defence agencies and industries.
What you will be working on
You will be leading the team on the analysis of trends and developments that could potentially impact the security of the defence agencies and industries. You will be responsible to flag out issues of concern promptly for early warning, provide critical insights and put forth recommendations to higher management for decision-making and policy formulation as part of MSD’s security clearance process.
What we are looking for
You should have a tertiary education, preferably with at least five years of relevant experience in the development and implementation of personnel security policies. You should possess strong strategic thinking, analytical, writing and verbal communication skills, and be a team player. You must also be able to cope with the high work demands in a fast-paced environment.
About Military Security Department
The Military Security Department (MSD)’s core business is in Counter Intelligence and internal security for MINDEF/SAF. MSD was formed in 1975 to counter the threats of espionage, subversion and sabotage against MINDEF/SAF. It began with two main entities, namely the Counter Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Field Security Branch (FSB). Over the years, the department has continued to evolve and our roles expanded in tandem with the changing security environment. Today, our roles also include Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security.
