What the role is
The National Arts Council seeks an Assistant Manager/Manager to work in its Performing Arts Department to provide support in the lead-up and execution of a key international platform for thought leadership and exchange of ideas for the global performing arts scene. This is a 9 months contract position.
What you will be working on
- Work with Lead of Performing Arts (Special Projects) on the delivery of key project.
- Assist in the preparation work leading up to the hosting of a key international platform, such as planning of programme scheduling, drafting of contracts and writing internal approval papers.
- Assist in liaising with vendors, partners and stakeholders for procurement and roll out the marketing and publicity plans where required.
- Coordinate weekly project meeting agenda, setting up meetings, writing of meeting minutes and supporting the team in other administrative matters.
What we are looking for
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word and Excel).
- Good written and communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to drive project(s).
- Strong time and project management skills.
- Public sector experience and knowledge of the public sector procurement is an advantage.
