What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Sustainability Office and Planning Branch that develops plans to drive resource reduction, waste recycling and decarbonisation efforts, coordinates environmental sustainability reporting within NEA, and ensure that NEA continues to contribute to our nation’s drive for environmental sustainability. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time on the following:
Initiate and/or champion programmes and initiatives for NEA to meet our obligations under the SG Greenplan 2030 and GreenGov.SG requirements.
Manage the reporting of resource consumption of NEA’s premises, which include analysis and consolidation of data, to the relevant platforms.
Work with divisions to drive various green initiatives and certification exercises within NEA.
Consolidate and report on NEA’s sustainability efforts for NEA’s Annual and Sustainability Report and other reporting purposes (Greengov.SG).
Provide secretariat support to relevant committees/meetings, and other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic, Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering
Relevant experience in environmental sustainability/climate change areas is preferred
Ability to analyse data using Excel to derive key insights for the organisation's strategy or operations. Experience in data analytics and visualisation would be an advantage.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work well both independently and in a team
Be driven, meticulous and resourceful
Self-motivated, independent and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
