What you will be working on

Responsibilities: To focus on delivering timely and accurate translation of clients' requirements, for finance, procurement and official overseas travel. This includes coordination, administration and working within agreed timelines through to the closing of the finance, procurement service and official overseas travel arrangements in line with the Ministry of Finance's Instruction Manual and AGC internal policies where applicable. Reference will be made to the prescribed templates and supporting finance, procurement and travel documentation. In addition, the Business Partner (BP) should drive value for AGC by identifying cost optimization opportunities and monitor contract timelines. The officer is responsible for finance business partnering activities which include but are not limited to: • Provide timely finance support to Divisions, so as to allow Divisions to incorporate financial considerations into their business decisions. • Financial responsibilities include budget planning coordination, budget tracking, cost recovery and payment matters. • Provide procurement support to Divisions e.g. advising stakeholders on applicable procurement guidelines and preparing and seeking approval for procurement submissions which include the Approval of Requirement (AOR); evaluation reports; contract variations. Perform contract monitoring. • Administer official overseas travel arrangements and approvals. • Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

What we are looking for

Requirements: • Tertiary education or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business studies. • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in public sector accounting, government procurement and Government Instruction Manuals. • Strong communication skills with good negotiation abilities. • Customer-centric with good interpersonal skills with team and different stakeholders. • Independent with the ability to take a broad and strategic perspective with strong analytical skills. • Proficient in MS Office applications. • Possess an eye for detail, results-oriented and meticulous with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
