What the role is
In this role, you will be involved in the planning of infrastructure projects in NHB and see to their successful completion. What you will be working on
Lead a cross-divisional/agency team on building project planning, design and construction works.
Manage the planning/initiation phase of the building project, including conducting feasibility study, benchmarking exercise, agencies/stakeholder engagements and preparing budget proposal.
Manage the project progress, including monitoring schedule and budget. Identify project risks, put in place early mitigation measures and controls.
Manage the consultants and contractors, including tender procurement, contract administration and authority submissions.
Engage and collaborate with internal/external project stakeholders and partners.
Ensure the project management adheres with institutional framework and regulatory standards.
Keep abreast of building industry practices and prevailing authority requirements.
General corporate administrative works.
What we are looking for
Background in project management, architecture or equivalent fields.
Preferably at least 5-8 years of working experience in project management field.
Relevant working experience in architecture, engineering or project management firm office and/or public sector projects will be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of contracts administration using PSSCOC and public sector governance. Familiarity with building codes and regulations on building standards.
Strong organisation, communication and engagement skills. Meticulous and attentive to details.
A dynamic, highly motivated team lead with ability to multi-task and interface various stakeholder activities with project requirements.
