What the role is
What you will be working on
Work with the team to drive and manage the construction works, project schedules and budget.
Identify project risks, to put in place early mitigation measures and controls.
Manage consultants and contractors. Monitor and ensure project design, authority clearance and construction works are being properly planned and carried out.
Identify interfacing issues and collaborate with the relevant parties to develop effective mitigation measures.
Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partners for various areas of the project towards building opening.
Ensure that project management complies with institutional guidelines and regulatory standards.
Keep abreast of building industry practices and prevailing authority requirements where applicable.
Administrative and any other matters in support of the work for the project, team and division.
What we are looking for
Background in Project Management, Civil & Structural or Architecture.
Preferably at least 8 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry as a Project Manager.
Project Management experience in large scale building or infrastructure projects.
Experience in public sector projects would be preferred.
Professional certifications (PMP, PE, QP, etc) is advantageous.
Strong organisation and communication skills, with an inquisitive mind.
Good team player, self-motivated with strong ability to multitask and handle fast paced projects.
