What the role is

You will be part of the Joint Communications Centre in charge of coordination and enhancing information operations at a Whole-of-Government (WoG) level for more effective and timely public communications.

What you will be working on

Besides developing plans and coordinating with various Government agencies and stakeholders for day-to-day incidents and signature events, you will also: • Monitor and track developments in the domestic and external digital landscapes • Analyse and make sense of external digital landscapes of interest to and its impact on Singapore. • Coordinate resources among WOG and external stakeholders and strengthen WoG communications efforts in sensing, analysis and responses

What we are looking for

• Have a strong interest and understanding of socio-political issues in Singapore and geopolitical developments in the Asia-Pacific. • Takes initiative and able to navigate ambiguity and uncertainties. • Good analytical and writing skills to break down complex objectives and considerations into clear and actionable deliverables to provide quantitative and qualitative insights. • Able to work under stress, multi-task and adapt quickly to changing situations. • Able to network effectively at all levels of the organisation, work independently and in a team. • Open to shift and/or rostered work arrangements • Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, or Chinese will be advantageous but not compulsory for working with regional partners and content Please note that only shortlisted candidates would be notified.
