What the role is
What you will be working on
You will work as an Assistant Engineering Executive in Tuas South Incineration Plant to ensure the plant and its auxiliary equipment are operating smoothly, safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for the following:
To ensure safe, smooth and efficient operation of boiler-incinerators and turbogenerators.
To carry out routine checklist, testing and changeover of the plant equipment.
To propose job cards and carry out the necessary isolation and normalization of the boiler & auxiliary system.
To trouble-shoot minor faults and carry out frontline maintenance in the plant’s equipment and processes.
To assist in the coordination of boiler or turbine overhauls.
To guide the plant operators in the operation of refuse handling, ash handling and scrap recovery equipment.
To perform shift duties.
What we are looking for
Nitec certification in engineering.
Preferably with 3-5 years of relevant experience in process/power plant engineering. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Candidates with Boiler Attendant certification will be an added advantage.
Outgoing and pleasant personality; mature, independent, and highly motivated
Analytical with good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to interact and foster teamwork
Willingly to perform night duties and rotating shift work
Proficient in Microsoft Office
