What the role is
What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop AI tools to assist MinLaw officers in their work processes.
• Assist in building data pipelines and prompt engineering, as well as finetuning models to achieve optimal levels of accuracy.
• Participate in the evaluation and integration of open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) into our systems.
• Design and develop AI agents using LLMs to automate workflow.
• Contribute to the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for enhanced information retrieval.
• Implement end-to-end AI powered workflow in commercial cloud infrastructure, such as AWS.

What we are looking for
• Current enrolment in a Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related undergraduate programme.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python.
• Familiarity with common Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and libraries.
• Good understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning concepts.
• Working knowledge with prompt engineering techniques, and agentic frameworks such as PydanticAI.
• Experience with building applications on commercial cloud, preferably AWS.
• Ability to work with unstructured data and implement effective data preprocessing techniques.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure As Code (IaC) framework such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform (desirable but not mandatory).
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch (desirable but not mandatory).
• Basic understanding or interest inof intellectual property concepts (desirable but not mandatory).
