What the role is
As a Manager/ Senior Manager, Service Management and Planning in the Customer Services Branch (CSB), Student Placement and Services Division (SPSD), you will be part of the team driving service excellence in MOE Headquarters and schools.
You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to implement customised training programmes and targeted service-related resources that complement existing service culture building efforts. This will sustain the service capability and competency of MOE staff to deliver consistent and high-quality service across all touchpoints. You will also handle divisional planning and administration, including co-ordinating submissions and controls, executing key events, managing staff awards, and advising on finance, procurement, training and business continuity matters.
What you will be working on
• Build and sustain MOE’s service culture through implementation of training programmes and development of self-directed learning initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement of customers’ omnichannel experiences by analysing customer journeys and collaborating with stakeholders to re-design service delivery processes and co-create innovative solutions
• Manage divisional submissions and provide advice to branches in areas such as budget and audit exercises, procurement, personnel matters, staff awards, staff training as well as business continuity planning for the division
• Plan and execute divisional events such as half-yearly dialogue sessions with staff, annual management retreat and staff induction sessions
What we are looking for
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Passion for and dynamism in driving service excellence
• Strong organisational, analytical and conceptual thinking abilities
• Good interpersonal, written, verbal communication, project management and collaborative skills
• Knowledge in customer journey mapping, design thinking and change management
• Prior experience in planning and coordination work in relevant areas such as budget and finance, staff development and events planning
