What the role is
The Human Resource Team in MND works closely with its Family of Statutory Boards (of close to 10,000 in staff strength) to support MND Family-wide objectives and strategic priorities through a range of HR initiatives, across several spectrums of HR, such as talent management, key learning focus areas, and other HR policies. Within MND, it supports the manpower needs of the organisation, as well as the growth and development of officers.
What you will be working on
As Manager/Human Resource Business Partnerships (HRBP), you will be exposed to different aspects of HR and can expect to work closely with MND’s divisions to meet their manpower needs. Some of your key responsibilities include:
• Undertake the management of staff movements, including but not limited to submissions to Senior Management, liaising with stakeholders and agencies on deployment details, obtain requisite documentation, and internal announcements of staff movement.
• Collaborate with Vital to ensure proper creation, updating, and/or closure of HR accounts in response to staff movements.
• Analyse HR data where required to support and participate in HR policy reviews and decision making.
• Work closely with other HRBPs to ensure proper record keeping of personnel records, tracking of staff movements, and other HR databases managed by the team.
• Support the HRBP team in shortlisting candidates for interview, scheduling interview sessions, and administering written assignments.
You can also look forward to drive HR transformation efforts to streamline work processes, primarily through digitalisation and automation where applicable.
What we are looking for
• A self-starter who is able to work well independently as well as in a team.
• Attentive to details and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable with picking up the use of IT systems and the application of Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work under pressure and short timelines
• Comfortable to engage different stakeholders, including central agencies
