What the role is
Drug abuse is a worsening global problem that harms millions of people. It destroys individuals, destabilises families and disrupts the workforce.
CNB’s Comms Division is responsible for driving our communications and community engagement and education efforts to build a DrugFreeSG, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about pushing for greater community awareness and support for a drug-free Singapore, to join the team.
He/she will have to work closely with our key stakeholders internal and external, including with creatives and media content producers, community partners and volunteer advocates, to amplify our collective voice against drugs and advocate for a drug-free lifestyle through the sharing of scientific evidence and lived experiences, and engage the public to support and participate in the DrugFreeSG cause.
What you will be working on
Some key responsibilities include:
• developing a unified content strategy, aligning across media, internal comms, outreach campaigns and social media as a force multiplier;
• enhancing our engagement and outreach, specifically across digital platforms, to help key target audience segments understand drug-related issues and CNB’s work through content that resonates with them e.g. by crafting messages and using the appropriate platforms to meet the distinct needs of various audiences, and exploring emerging digital platforms and creative content formats that resonate with youth preferences;
• nurturing partnerships with advocates and content creators to produce a content for in-house and partner platforms to amplify outreach, foster trust, and enhance public understanding;
• assisting in various outreach and partnership efforts which includes public communications, campaigns, events and community roadshows, as well as other administrative functions in relation to the team’s day-to-day work.
