What the role is
What you will be working on
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for psychological trends
- Apply Natural Language Processing techniques and clustering algorithms to analyse qualitative data
- Extract meaningful patterns from complex psychological datasets
- Create frameworks for processing integrated psychology data
- Generate actionable insights through data visualisation tools
- Collaborate with Business Operations Group to optimise and automate data collection methods
- Work with capability centres to enhance psychological research data exploitation efforts
- Implement scalable data processing frameworks

- Staying current with developments in data science applications
- Translating abstract psychological concepts into quantifiable data science solutions while bridging the gap between psychological theory and data science applications
Implementing advanced analytics
- Meeting practical operational requirements, data security policies and resource constraints across diverse psychological domains
What we are looking for
- Education in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related quantitative field
- At least 3-5 years of experience applying advanced data science techniques using Python and R to extract insights from complex behavioural datasets is preferred
- Demonstrated success in developing predictive models and machine learning algorithms
- Strong foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis and natural language processing
- Proven experience in analysing behavioural or social science data
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as PowerBI and QlikSense
- Innovative problem-solving approach in applying data science techniques to novel research questions
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining scientific rigour
- Ability to communicate technical findings effectively to diverse stakeholders
- Self-driven and curious mindset with strong interest in advancing data science applications in psychology
