What the role is

We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment! What you will be working on

You’ll support the Director (Place Management) in: • Formulating policies and regulations to realise place-making and place management objectives, and create better and more successful places and precincts; • Facilitating and supporting stakeholders in implementing their plans on the ground to achieve the desired outcomes; • Planning and conducting stakeholder engagement and community outreach; • Facilitating and supporting stakeholders in implementing their plans on the ground to achieve the desired outcomes; • Monitoring the efficacy and efficiency of the policies and regulations and reviewing them as needed; • Undertaking other tasks that encompasses to varying extent the following: o Event/project planning and organisation; o Capability and industry development; and o Contract management and leasing.

What we are looking for

• A good degree in law, social science, business, building and real estate or related fields. • Strong project management skills. • Good analytical ability and meticulous. • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, especially in influencing people across organisational boundaries. • A growth mindset, an open mind and grit. • Effective team player. • Experience in policy planning and formulation, and/or drafting of legislation, would be advantageous.

About Urban Redevelopment Authority

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) is Singapore's national land use planning authority. URA prepares long term strategic plans, as well as detailed local area plans, for physical development, and then co-ordinates and guides efforts to bring these plans to reality. Prudent land use planning has enabled Singapore to enjoy strong economic growth and social cohesion, and ensures that sufficient land is safeguarded to support continued economic progress and future development.
