What the role is
We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented finance professional to join our Financial & Management Accounting Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely execution of financial operations, including transaction processing, accounts reconciliations, financial reporting and compliance. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvements in finance systems, processes and controls to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
What you will be working on
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and execute end-to-end billing processes including the preparation of invoices, credit notes and other billing documents.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, and promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain complete, consistent, and compliant accounting records and documentation to ensure readiness for audit and regulatory reviews.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, variance analyses and financial trends to support strategic decision-making and improve business performance
• Participate in the implementation, enhancement, and upgrade of financial systems, including user acceptance testing, and recommend process improvements to streamline operations.
• Support the development of finance analytics dashboards and management reports to provide actionable business insights.
• Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls to ensure accuracy and completeness, safeguard assets, and maintain compliance with governance standards.
• Ensure adherence to organisational policies, accounting procedures, and all relevant corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, prepare audit schedules and supporting documentations, and ensure timely resolution of audit matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide finance-related support for operational and strategic initiatives.
• Undertake other finance-related duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial and management accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of ERP financial systems; prior experience in SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel data analysis, reporting, and visualisation.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new financial systems and data analysis tools.
