Candidates should possess:
• Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science, Life Science, Chemistry, Biology and/or other related disciplines.
• Candidates with work experience in related fields, such as homeland security, law enforcement, and/or military, may be considered.
• Experience in photography, videography, digital animation, and/or related multi-media fields will be an advantage.
• Excellent observational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
• Eagerness to learn and collaborate as a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to work flexible shift hours in alignment with the demands of crime scenes work, and.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and at irregular hours.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of work.
• A valid Class 3 driving license will be an advantage.
• Must be physically fit to handle demanding crime scene environments.
• Candidates with no prior experience in forensics are welcome to apply.
• Passion for forensic science and a genuine desire to contribute to the safety and security of Singapore.
All new appointees will be provided with relevant training and appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
