The jobholder is responsible for managing comprehensive financial operations while collaborating with stakeholders on system development and enhancements. What the role is
What you will be working on
• Drive financial transformation and reengineer existing processes to include agentic AI
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including accounts payable, account receivables and general ledger entries
• Perform fixed assets accounting and ensure accuracy and completeness of fixed asset records
• Review requirement specifications and work with divisions and external agencies on the development and enhancement of collection systems by benchmarking against industry best practices
• Manage bank accounts and authorising warrants
• Perform data analysis to detect irregularities and derive insights to provide recommendations to management
• Ensure procedures are compliant to financial policies and guidelines
What we are looking for
• Working experience in finance/budget-related areas
• Experience in Government agencies/public organisations, with knowledge in public sector financing and governance is preferred
• Candidates with no prior working experience are welcome to apply
• Highly-motivated with positive working attitude and work with great sense of urgency
• Able to work independently and as a good team player
• Possess critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good interpersonal skills and able to engage and communicate with key stakeholders at all levels
• Able to keep up-to-date with changes and developments in the field
