What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be reporting to the Team lead, HPS Grant Administration and Audit. In this role, you will be part of the team which supports to the implementation and execution of grant administration and governance programmes within Singapore's sporting excellence framework. This role assists in managing funding frameworks that support TeamSG athletes, National Sports Associations (NSAs), and the High-Performance Sport ecosystem.
Working closely with the Team Lead, this position helps oversee grant operations, ensures compliance with governance standards and supports the development of evaluation frameworks. The role involves coordinating grant disbursement processes and monitoring systems while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and audit management on grantees.
The broad areas of responsibilities for the portfolio include the following:
• Support the implementation and execution of grant schemes targeting TeamSG athletes and NSAs in the area of disbursements and audit management.
• Verify and process grant disbursements to TeamSG athletes and NSAs.
• Manage and facilitate stakeholders’ engagements and meetings.
• Support the appointed vendor for the yearly audits on grantees
• Provide support on administrative, finance areas, etc
• Any additional projects as assigned by Team Lead.
What we are looking for
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.
In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following:
• A background in business administration, accountancy, finance or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in grant management, governance and controls or audit management
• Meticulous mindset with outstanding attention to detail and strong numerical competency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel skills including pivot tables, advance formulas and data analysis tools.
• Good project management and facilitation skills
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a good team player
The level of offer will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and track records.
