What the role is

The Assurance, Care and Engagement Group (ACE), a permanent division under the Ministry of Manpower, improves the well-being of migrant workers by enhancing the healthcare, housing and social aspects of the migrant worker landscape. As a member of the Staff Engagement & Development department, you will support and drive ACE's capability initiatives and learning strategies to prepare officers for current and emerging work demands. You will oversee divisional training plans, onboarding and skills development in areas such as digital, data and AI. You will ensure learning is relevant, measurable and aligned with Whole of Government (WOG) / MOM frameworks.

What you will be working on

• Develop and implement divisional learning plans in line with ACE’s needs and WOG/MOM frameworks. • Oversee onboarding redesign to embed refreshed values, digital fluency and GenAI adoption. • Track training participation, analyse data and surface trends to leadership. • Manage training budget strategically to ensure effective use of resources. • Guide and coach direct reports.

The ideal candidate is forward-looking, adaptable and able to translate learning needs into practical interventions. Experience in learning and development, organisational development, or related fields is useful, but mindset matters most — we value curiosity, collaboration and the drive to experiment with new approaches to help ACE officers build future-ready skills
