What you will be working on
• Manage the annual budgeting and revised estimates process
• Review and evaluate budget requests and funding proposals by business units to ensure prudent spending and optimal allocation of financial resources.
• Administer and review budgetary systems, processes and frameworks
• Perform financial analysis and modeling to analyse funding proposals and budget requirements
• Be a partner to the business units – engage and work collaboratively with business units to advise and support them on budgetary and financial matters.
• Engage and work with relevant stakeholders to conduct regular costing and fee review exercises
• Monitor, analyse, report and present regular budgetary and financial performance to Board and senior management
• Evaluate project/programme proposals and provide advice and recommendations on costing concepts, funding sources, KPIs and cost-benefit analysis
• Review and propose changes and improvements to the programme/project evaluation framework
• Develop and enhance financial performance metrics and track performance against the metrics
• Any other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned
