What the role is
The Marriage and Parenthood Policy Directorate drives ambition and action across whole of government to address Singapore’s low fertility rate, which is key to tackling our population challenge. We work with partners across the public, private and people sectors to build a more family-friendly environment, where Singaporeans are supported in fulfilling their marriage and parenthood (M&P) aspirations.
What you will be working on
Your key duties/deliverables include:
• Research and analyse local/international trends and wide-ranging issues that affect marriage and parenthood decisions
• Review and formulate the next bound of marriage & parenthood policies, consulting and working with diverse stakeholders within and outside the public sector (e.g. academics, tripartite partners, community organisations)
• Work with agencies across different sectors of Government to ensure the smooth roll-out and implementation of policies
• Develop innovative public communications, engagement and partnership strategies to foster a more family-friendly culture and society
