What the role is

We are looking for a driven, strategic and analytical individual who thrives in tackling complex challenges, to be part of the newly established Strategic Projects Team in the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). As a Senior Manager/ Assistant Director in the Strategic Projects Team, you will be driving ECDA's transformation agenda by reviewing, designing and developing cross-divisional strategic initiatives that shape the future of Singapore's early childhood (EC) sector. You will work directly with senior leadership and project sponsors to deliver high-impact projects within stipulated timeframes, understanding the EC landscape and recommend measures to address emerging issues. What you will be working on

You will review, design and plan the delivery of prioritised strategic projects within stipulated timeframes. Specifically, you will undertake (including but not limited to) the following: • Review, design and plan the delivery of strategic projects starting with the EC Industry Structure Plan • Develop robust project frameworks to monitor progress, ensure accountability, and maintain quality standards • Facilitate cross-divisional coordination and collaboration with diverse stakeholders and agencies, not limited to ECDA and MSF, analysing data and evidence to recommend optimal operational-policy decisions • Engage senior leadership and project sponsors for guidance while providing strategic reporting on project status, delivering strategic insights and recommendations

What we are looking for

• Passion for the EC sector and commitment to improving outcomes for children and families • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with operations policy background, including experience in complex problem-solving, multi-stakeholder project management, policy development and business process review • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Adaptable and agile, enjoys working in transformative environments, and comfortable with ambiguity and change • Economics background, strong analytical experience in market/sector analysis, or knowledge of Singapore's EC landscape would be advantageous Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
