What you will be working on
As a member of the Airport Planning, Design & Engineering team within CAAS’ Airport Development & Planning (ADP) Division, you will be involved in the oversight of the planning of infrastructure in Changi and Seletar Airports. To this end, you will:
Support senior officers and work closely with the airport operator and key stakeholders in the aviation community, government agencies, and/or consultants to review airport land use planning and related proposals, as well as ensure proper project planning, management and timely completion of airport infrastructure design development studies.
Participate in the review of specific areas of airport infrastructure design, e.g. passenger terminal building, apron/aircraft manoeuvring area, automated passenger mover system, baggage handling system, ground transport facilities, etc.
You may also be required to carry out procurement/management of consultancy services to support CAAS in planning/design review(s).
What we are looking for
Trained in Engineering or relevant qualification related to planning/development
At least 5 years of relevant working experience
Self-motivated, driven, resourceful, a good team player and ability to multi-task
Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
Prior airport/airfield related experience and/or planning of infrastructure projects will be an advantage
Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS and/or BIM will be an advantage
Note: Your appointment designation will be commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
