The intern will play a vital role in supporting the team's research, learning and development, and programme management activities across our key initiatives. This position offers hands-on experience in designing impactful learning experiences and conducting strategic research that directly influences public service capability building. What the role is
What you will be working on
Research & Analysis
• Support research on governance and policy topics to support thought leadership initiatives and public sector learning
• Analyse best practices and case studies from leading countries and organisations. Support literature reviews and evidence-based research
• Gather and synthesise information to support IGP's strategic plans
Learning & Development
• Apply learning design methodologies and educational technologies to create innovative learning solutions and programmes
• Develop diverse learning assets including multimedia content, infographics, job aids, AI Bots for learning
Programme Management
• Support running of seminars, workshops, and learning events
• Assist in programme planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication
• Support the design and delivery of milestone programmes and strategic learning initiatives
What we are looking for
• Interest in governance and policy, and enthusiastic about research and/or learning and development.
• It will be useful to have good writing, digital skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to learn, and ability to learn quickly
About Civil Service College
The Civil Service College (CSC) is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. We are the central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and we partner government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first-class public service.
CSC brings together public officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them with opportunities for learning and skills upgrading. Our service-wide networks enable public officers to build capabilities, develop shared ethos and gain deeper perspectives, creating a collaborative environment for dialogue and knowledge sharing.
