What the role is
What you will be working on
You will be responsible for the following:
- Conceptualise and drive new vector surveillance (e.g. Gravitraps) and control (e.g. rat management) work initiatives from inception to implementation
- Carry out budgeting, procurement, and contract management
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction or Guidelines for consistent implementation
- Work closely with key stakeholders (internal and external) to implement operational programmes pertaining to vector control
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of vector control programmes, present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
- Review and refine work processes, through data analysis and incorporation of feedback and best practices, to enhance operational efficiency and productivity
- Develop and deliver training programmes, including needs assessment, curriculum/content design, and post-training evaluation to ensure effective learning outcomes from various internal/external stakeholder groups
- Any other duties with regard to Vector Control work
What we are looking for
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Operations planning will be an advantage
- Enjoy thinking strategically, planning and applying analytical reasoning in operations management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Mature, independent, and resourceful
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Willing to support operations outside of regular office hours, when required
