What you will be working on
Data/Information analysis
• Analyse the results of the risk-based data and perform the first-level evaluation of the risk-based selection for Public Accountants (PAs) in the non-listed entities segment
• Provide advice/inputs in the formulation of risk-based methodology for selection of PAs
• Responsible for the compilation and analysis of data for periodic reporting to ACRA Senior Management (ASM) and Public Accountants Oversight Committee (PAOC).
• Perform data analysis using consolidating information gathered from audit firms as part of offsite monitoring process.
• Track cases of problematic companies / entities highlighted from media alerts and other sources.
Preparation of papers/submissions/regulatory notices and other documents
• Evaluate public accountants’ submission with respect to nominated hot reviewers (i.e. evaluate the suitability of nominated hot reviewers and is responsible for submission of recommended next steps)
• Perform compliance check
• Prepare and publish regulatory notices
• Handle post-PAOC meeting processes, including preparing and/or provide advice/inputs in the drafting of PAOC order letters and invoices, liaising with external parties, following up on outstanding invoices etc.
Maintenance of Inspection records
• Play an instrumental role in the review and implementation of records and knowledge management processes for the department.
• Leverage digital tool to automate the update to inspection cases.
• Accountable for a diverse array of responsibilities including the administration of access rights to departmental folders, preparation of PAOC and PMSC agendas, management of meeting materials, updating of meeting portals, verification of department’s expenses, organisation of meetings and other related tasks.
Maintenance of ACRA’s website (Inspection Department’s related information/data)
• Manage ACRA website related to Practice Monitoring Programme and Quality Control Reviews, Audit Quality Indicators and Industry Average
• Monitor the timelines with respect to the meeting of service targets and required submissions by regulatees
Inspection Department (IpD)’s representative
• Play an integral role in organising regional and international events such as AARG and IFIAR, when ACRA is the host.
• Handle AGO’s and AGD’s audit inquiries.
• IpD’s representative in working with the following departments:
Finance & Administration Department - on refreshing retention policy etc in addressing NAS requirements
Various other departments on Inspection Department projects and compliance
• Represent Inspection Department, providing advice to respective taskforce/committees as to Inspection Department’s practices/viewpoints for various ACRA-wide projects including iknow Sharepoint online redesign and migration to new system, digitalization exercise, revamp of ACRA website and BR2S service recovery exercise

Support Assistant Chief Executive in certain administrative matters
What we are looking for
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience is preferred
• Professional Qualification in Accountancy
• Good written, communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, organised and efficient to work within stipulated timelines
• Good project management skills and the ability to take initiative
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
