This role manages the full spectrum of the Accounts Receivable function in NLB. The job holder (JH) will lead revenue collection functions and implement process improvements. The JH will manage billing operations, drives system enhancements, and ensures robust financial controls. The JH plays a critical role to ensure processes within Account Receivable are streamlined, digitalized and automated to increase efficiency and productivity.

What you will be working on

  • Manage the Accounts Receivables and Billing function.
  • Oversee full spectrum of revenue collection in NLB including collection through sales invoices and fees and charges.
  • Perform and review monthly and yearly closing tasks. Review audit schedules.
  • Lead Division representatives to perform NLB-wide fee review exercise.
  • Review Divisions’ submission of papers on revenue waiver and write-off.
  • Provide advice on Finance SOP and guidelines, anticipate issues and suggest solutions.
  • Review and update AR-related SOP and policy.
  • Support implementation of new IT systems and new payment methods impacting reporting of revenue collection.
  • Collaborate with central agencies and external partners to address system issues and propose Workday improvements.
  • Data analytics and building dashboard.

What we are looking for

  • Preferably at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Familiar with Financial reporting standards, Instruction Manual (IM) and Finance Circulars issued by MOF
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications and Workday accounting system
  • Meticulous and analytical
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills (writing and speaking)
  • Strong team player

The successful candidate will be appointed on a 2-year contract at the first instance.
