As a Senior Engineer/Assistant Director, Network Planning and Data Management Division, Data Analytics & System Development (DASD) Section, you will be the section leader responsible for overseeing the overall data analytics efforts to ensure alignment with the Smart Water Grid & Smart Operations Framework, where scope includes the following:

What the role is
What you will be working on
• Oversee and manage the development & maintenance of PUB’s Smart Water Grid Analytics Platform, as well as hydraulic modelling / analytics efforts such as virtual district metered area (vDMA) implementation.
• Oversee and manage PUB’s water network analytic efforts on predictive pipeline renewal through machine learning and sensor placement optimization.
• Oversee and manage PUB’s meter data management and analytics efforts through the building of a meter asset database and analysis of data from PUB’s Smart Water Meter to detect meter anomalies.
• Responsible in managing and guiding the officers in their respective roles and focus areas, providing a comprehensive and strategic overview, enabling better coordination, resource management, and more effective project delivery across the DASD section.
• Utilize analytics and insights from each track to drive continuous improvement, optimize processes, and enhance the efficiency and resilience of the water supply network.
What we are looking for
1. Degree in Engineering or Computing or related IT fields
2. At least 5 years’ relevant experience managing IT / data analytics projects
3. Relevant certifications in any data- or IT-related fields are preferred (e.g. data analytics, machine learning, data management, cloud infrastructure, etc.)
