What the role is
As a Project Engineer/ Senior Project Engineer at Water Supply (Plants) (WSP) Department, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following :
What you will be working on
• Planning, design and manage WSP upgrading and expansion projects to ensure the timely implementation, reliable operation, ease of maintenance and safety at the WSP projects so as to safeguard adequate water supply to meet Singapore’s future water demand
• Plan, design (preliminary and detailed) and call tenders related to department upgrading and expansion capex projects
• Manage and implement contracts to ensure works performed by consultant/contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget
• Ensure delivery of projects within budget and meet users’ requirements
• Ensure project completion according to planned schedule
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the technical specifications
During the course of the work, you may be required to work closely with departments, consultants and contractors.
What we are looking for
• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics ) and related engineering disciplines
• Works well independently and also a good team player
Candidates may be considered for contract renewal after the completion of the first contract.
