What the role is

You will assist in Power Apps development in M365 as well as RPA for UiPath for process automation. For Power Apps development, you will assist in designing, developing and deploying custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, primarily Power Apps and Power Automate, within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. For RPA development, you will support the design, development, testing and deployment of automation workflows using UiPath, ideal for recent graduates who are eager to dive into robotic process automation and contribute to digitally transforming manual processes within the organisation.

What you will be working on

- Assist in Power Apps development in M365 as well as RPA for UiPath for process automation - Assist in designing, developing and deploying custom business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, primarily Power Apps and Power Automate, within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem - Support the design, development, testing and deployment of automation workflows using UiPath - Work alongside experienced developers, business analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into low-code/no-code solutions that improve workflows, data collection and internal processes

What we are looking for

- Education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field - Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem in particular, familiarity with tools like SharePoint, Teams and Excel - Logical/computational thinking, specifically, comfortable with conditionals, variables and flow logic - Experience with Power Apps or Power Automate (even via coursework or projects) - Basic programming knowledge. Specifically written and deployed applications in languages like Python, VB.NET or C# is a plus - Understanding of relational data and basic data modelling - Basic Excel formulas and Power Fx Syntax exposure - Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail The traineeship will be for a period of 6 months. Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
