What the role is
Your work will be instrumental in bridging the gap between policy intent and ground implementation, ensuring that capability building initiatives translate into tangible improvements in organisational capabilities for better social service delivery and impact. Success will be measured through improved SSA operational efficiency, enhanced service quality indicators, and resource sustainability indicators.
What you will be working on
1. Develop and drive strategies to strengthen organisation capabilities of SSAs
a. Conceptualise and plan initiatives to strengthen SSAs organisation capabilities, particularly in resource and financial sustainability.
b. Maintain strategic oversight of the sector’s sustainability needs and development
c. Monitor the sector’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
d. Ensure alignment to government directions and masterplans
e. Develop and monitor key metrices to measure and communicate progress to stakeholders
2. Conduct policy and initiatives reviews, assess the impact and effectiveness of capability-building efforts. Develop and provide recommendations for policy enhancements; and prepare proposals for enhancements.
3. Analyse sector gaps and trends and work with partners in the ecyostem, to design and incubate interventions/programmes to address the sustainability of resources (finances, shared services, assets, infrastructure etc.)
4. Develop and implement comprehensive metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure impact and progress of developed programmes/interventions.
5. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (including policy teams, sector partners and grant administrators) and external stakeholders (including SSA leadership, technology vendors and consultancy partners) to implement identified plans.

Experience & Special Certification(s):
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- At least 3 years of experience in organisational development, transformation projects, or capability building roles
- Track record of successfully implementing sector-wide frameworks or large-scale organisational improvement initiatives
Preferred experience:
- Background in management consulting, particularly in organisational development or enterprise development
- Experience in developing and implementing capability measurement frameworks
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, or related disciplines
- Master's degree in relevant fields would be an advantage
- Professional certifications in organisational development, change management, or project management would be valuable.
