What the role is

The incumbent will be part of the team managing registration policies and operations for healthcare professionals. Specifically, these include the areas of registration of TCM Practitioners, staffing of Boards and professional committee meetings, as well as administrative support to the Boards, including facilitating the conduct of examinations for TCMPB.

What you will be working on

The work responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following: • Screen and process healthcare professionals’ applications for registration • Correspond with employers and applicants on matters related to their applications • Review and manage policies related to healthcare professionals’ registration • Provides secretariat support for Board/Council and professional committee meetings • Handling of enquiries

What we are looking for

• Fresh graduates with or without working experience. Those with experience in regulatory/policy work and operations/administration work will have an advantage. • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a confident demeanour. • Proficient in spoken and written Chinese (in emails and writing of minutes of meeting) • Possess critical thinking, customer relationship management and data analysis skills. • Display meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities. • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Manage multiple tasks efficiently, handle pressure well, and meet tight deadlines. • Bring a self-motivated attitude and positive approach to work. • Are technologically adept, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
