What the role is

What you will be working on

[Key Responsibilities]: As part of the Data Engineering & Infrastructure team with PSD’s Data Office, you will be supporting the Team Lead in the collection, verification, and publication of the public service workforce data. The roles and responsibilities include: • Communicate with agencies to address questions on data collection requirements and definitions. • Analyse data to identify logic errors and work with agencies to correct them accordingly. • Support the preparation of publications using data collected. • Write and edit Python scripts to automate data processing.

What we are looking for

[Competencies Required]: • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Proficient in Python (focus on data processing). • Experience in AI (e.g. LLMs, RAG) or Tableau is optional but helpful. • Meticulous, analytical, comfortable working with numbers and data. • Good communications skills. • Thinking clearly and making sound judgement.
