What the role is

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector. As a Product Operations Specialist Trainee in the Digital Workplace for Schools & Educator Productivity Branch of the Digital Excellence & Products Division (DXD), you will be responsible for ensuring our teacher Professional Development (PD) ecosystem runs smoothly at scale. You will assist in the migration of existing learning content onto a new learning platform, package bite-sized micro-learning units, onboard end users to various PD tools (e.g. formative feedback on teaching videos) in the ecosystem, and data collection and synthesis for insights. You’ll partner with content authors, instructional designers, engineers and PD leads to streamline workflows, support users, and continuously improve our PD offerings. Key areas/competencies to be developed: -Product operations in scale -Project management skills -Stakeholder management -Data collection and synthesis -Performance monitoring

What you will be working on

What we are looking for

-Experience in designing and feedback collection (e.g. survey) on identified key flows and touchpoints to generate insights -Organisational and project-management skills to coordinate content audits, migration pipelines, and version control -Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to write clear user guides, FAQs, and training materials for educators -Basic scripting or automation proficiency (e.g. Python, JavaScript, or Zapier/Make) to build lightweight integrations and streamline workflows -Familiarity with AI/ML tools or prior experience in educational technology and learning-design frameworks would be an advantage.

Eligibility for GRIT@Gov traineeship

The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

All trainees must fulfil the following criteria:

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in 2024 or 2025 from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and other Educational Institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2024 or 2025.

Trainees who complete their studies from Universities, Polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) or other Educational Institutions within 2025 but who will only receive their qualification/certification award in 2026 are eligible for the programme as well.
