As part of NEVC’s leadership team, you’ll oversee a dynamic unit responsible for shaping the regulatory landscape of Singapore’s EV charging industry. You’ll play a key role in enabling the safe and seamless growth of the EV charging network through both policy and operational levers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead development of policy and regulatory frameworks to ensure the safety, reliability, and accessibility of EV charging infrastructure across Singapore, while safeguarding public interest and being business-friendly.
- Effect legislative changes to ensure our frameworks evolve to meet tomorrow’s challenges and emerging needs.
- Oversee the licensing regime for EV charging operators to shape industry development and standards, while preserving policy space for innovation.
- Mentor and lead a team of policy officers, nurturing future leaders in sustainability and tech policy.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders – from government agencies to industry players – to align interests and drive national outcomes.
What we are looking for
- Knowledge in policy and regulatory frameworks
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience
- Strong strategic thinking and policy skills with a drive to learn
- Be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; you may be required to work on multiple initiatives in the same period
- Good writing, communication and presentation skills, with an eye for details
- Able to work collaboratively in a cross functional team and with external stakeholders
